Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules, weekends and holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for up to 60 patients using advanced technology
Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes quickly and accurately
Collaborate with RNs across multiple facilities to improve patient outcomes
Follow established protocols to ensure timely communication during emergencies
Support a virtual hospital setting that brings care to patients wherever they are

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience in cardiac monitoring
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam with lethal rhythms on a pass/fail basis
Graduation from an accredited program that includes EKG Interpretation
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a centralized monitoring unit
