Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound and vascular imaging studies
Execute a variety of procedures including drains and biopsies
Deliver compassionate patient care during every scan
Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging results
Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols
Document findings clearly in Fuji EPIC system

Qualifications

Current RVT certification required with strong vascular experience
RDMS certification required, RDCS is a plus
BLS certification
Experience with general, vascular, and procedural ultrasound
Ability to work 8-10+ scans per day

Knowledge & Skills

Strong vascular ultrasound expertise
Proficiency with Phillips equipment
Familiarity with Fuji EPIC EMR/PACS
Excellent patient communication skills
Ability to handle a variety of imaging studies
