Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to telemetry and medical-surgical patients across multiple units
Titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine with precision and safety
Interpret EKGs and monitor patients using centralized telemetry systems
Float between Telemetry, MedSurg, Neuro, and observation areas while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
Collaborate with hospitalists, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate seamless care
Educate patients and families about post-procedure recovery, medications, and discharge planning

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIHSS certification preferred
Strong cardiac drip titration experience and telemetry skills
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
Comfortable floating between Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Cardiac drip titration and medication management
Patient assessment across telemetry and medical-surgical populations
Strong communication and adaptability in a float pool environment
