Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Perform essential diagnostic testing including ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, and bronchoscopy procedures
Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans to ensure optimal outcomes
Transport patients safely within the hospital and between facilities
Provide on-call coverage to support patient care needs outside standard hours

Qualifications

RRT credential required; CRT may be considered
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred
Prior EMR experience preferred
Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program

Education

Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and care planning expertise
Proficiency with ABG, PFT, EKG, and bronchoscopy procedures
Pulse oximetry monitoring skills
Safe patient transport protocols
Electronic medical records navigation
