Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers following AWHONN guidelines
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Magnesium and Oxytocin for safe deliveries
Support healthy mom-baby couplets through postpartum recovery with personalized attention
Collaborate with the surgical team during C-sections while ensuring the safest outcomes for baby
Offer expert neonatal support using CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment when needed
Float to medical-surgical or emergency departments to lend a helping hand during high-census times

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience
Ability to pass N95 fit testing (candidates with facial hair may need to be clean-shaven)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of labor, delivery, and postpartum workflows
Comfort working independently in a rural setting with limited specialty resources
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with OB Trace Vue fetal monitoring system
Willingness to float and assist across units when census demands
