Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center
Deliver specialized NICU respiratory support while collaborating closely with physicians
Operate advanced equipment including PB 980 and Hamilton C1 ventilators
Make independent clinical judgments that directly impact patient outcomes
Support patients throughout the facility from ICU to surgical and medical floors

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
Proven NICU experience essential for success in this role
Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ventilator management skills across multiple platforms
Comfort working with neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations
Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Adaptability to cover all areas throughout the facility
Professional approach to rotating weekends and holidays
