Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center
Deliver specialized NICU support while collaborating closely with physicians and care teams
Manage advanced ventilators and respiratory equipment including PB 980, Hamilton C1, and Airvo systems
Cover all hospital areas including ICU, ER, surgical, and medical units with independence and clinical judgment
Build meaningful relationships in a respectful, friendly environment where RTs are truly valued

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
Proven NICU experience essential for success in this role
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ventilator management across multiple platforms
Excellent clinical judgment in high-acuity settings
Comfort working across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
Collaborative approach with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Adaptability to cover ER, ICU, surgical, and medical areas
