Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac monitoring and telemetry care across multiple units
Titrate cardiac drips safely while closely observing patient responses
Float between Telemetry, MedSurg, and Neuro units, adapting quickly to each specialty
Interpret EKGs and respond promptly to rhythm changes
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Support post-cath, post-surgical, and stroke-recovery patients through every stage of healing

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIHSS certification preferred
Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac drip titration experience
Minimum one year of recent telemetry or MedSurg experience

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry and cardiac monitoring expertise
Safe titration of Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine
Ability to float between ICU, Cardiac Tele, MedSurg, and holding areas
Strong critical-thinking and rapid-adaptation skills
Excellent communication with patients, families, and care teams
