End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts with weekend and holiday requirements, rotating schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate postpartum care to new mothers and their newborns
Monitor and manage magnesium drips for patients with hypertensive disorders
Support newborn transition and educate families on infant care
Collaborate with OB and NICU teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes
Float to Labor & Delivery when needed to assist with normal newborn transitions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
NRP and BLS certifications required
Experience with newborn transition and post-delivery magnesium management
Comfortable titrating magnesium drips and working with high-risk OB patients

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment skills for postpartum and high-risk OB patients
Ability to manage magnesium drips and recognize complications
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Flexibility to float between Postpartum and Labor & Delivery units
