Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients on a 27-bed PCU/Med-Surg unit
Monitor and manage titratable drips including insulin and Cardizem while ensuring patient safety
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dietitians
Float to same-level-of-care units to support team needs and expand your clinical experience
Deliver patient-centered care from diagnosis through remission or peaceful end-of-life support
Perform hourly rounding and maintain excellent patient experience standards

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred
Open to first-time travelers who are ready to learn and grow
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of Omaha and have no prior employment with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, EV-1000)
Chemotherapy administration and oncology-specific protocols
Alaris IV pumps and specialty lift equipment
Strong teamwork, adaptability, and genuine compassion for diverse patient populations
