Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert, compassionate care to neonates in a Level III NICU
Monitor and manage ventilators and central lines with precision
Collaborate with OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Nurse Midwives to deliver outstanding outcomes
Float to Mother-Baby or L&D to support newborns and families during transition
Serve as a safety advocate and resource when the unit needs you most

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum three years of recent NICU experience
Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking abilities
Valid driver's license at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator and central line management
Neonatal assessment and family-centered care
Floating comfortably between NICU, Mother-Baby, and L&D
Working independently while thriving in a team setting
