Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro-telemetry patients including those with CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, and brain tumors
Monitor and interpret EKGs while managing titrated drips such as Heparin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver bedside report and ensure seamless continuity of care
Float to cardiac telemetry, telemetry overflow in ICU, and med-surg units as needed to support hospital-wide patient care
Maintain sterile technique during Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes in SIMs Lab evaluations

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
Neuro experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
Cerner EMR documentation
Central monitoring and telemetry skills
Strong sterile field technique for catheter and line procedures
Ability to manage trached patients and complex neuro diagnoses
