Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and surgical patients
Interpret telemetry strips and sign documentation at least once per shift
Collaborate with remote monitor techs while maintaining accountability for cardiac rhythm interpretation
Administer set-rate drips such as Diltiazem and monitor patient response
Support patients through general, orthopedic, and spinal surgical recovery journeys
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to expand your skillset and support the broader team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Some experience with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA, and TIA preferred
Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry strip interpretation
Cerner documentation system
BIPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen management
Remote telemetry monitoring collaboration
Patient ratio management at 1:5
