Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients on a specialized Visual Monitor Unit
Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond promptly to rhythm changes
Collaborate with behavioral health techs and security to ensure patient safety
Administer medications and perform central line dressing changes while maintaining sterile technique
Support patients with both medical and secondary psychiatric needs
Float to ED psych holds or MedSurg floors as needed to support the broader care team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma experience in a 600+ bed facility
Strong MedSurg/Telemetry skills with Cerner EMR experience
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (two attempts allowed)
Must successfully complete SIMs Lab skills on day one of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
Sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line care
Patient safety protocols including video monitoring and chemical restraints
Cerner electronic medical record documentation
Compassionate care for patients with behavioral health needs
