Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to laboring patients and newborns
Monitor and interpret fetal heart strips to ensure the safest outcomes
Titrate critical drips such as Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin with precision
Float to Med-Surg and ER units when needed, showcasing your versatility
Collaborate with a dedicated Charge Nurse and supportive care team
Follow AWHONN guidelines and quality metrics to deliver exceptional care

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Proven ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
Strong critical thinking and adaptability to change

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin
Critical thinking and quality-metric adherence
Flexibility to float across units as needed
Effective communication and teamwork
