Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday), holidays rotate with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert care to mothers and newborns in our Birthing Center
Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence
Assist with baby catching and newborn transition for low-risk deliveries
Titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips to support safe labor and delivery
Collaborate with our 24/7 OB anesthesia and neonatology teams for seamless patient care
Support high-risk patients including those with preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use concerns
Float within the LDRP unit to postpartum and mother-baby care as needed
Maintain accurate fetal monitoring and documentation using Centricity-perinatal system

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
No first-time travelers
