Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert care to mothers and newborns in labor and delivery
Circulate C-sections with confidence and precision
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond swiftly to any changes
Support families through every stage of the birth experience
Collaborate with OB techs and on-call specialists for seamless care
Float between postpartum and labor & delivery units as needed

Qualifications

Active California RN license
2 years of recent L&D/PP experience required
Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Travel nursing experience is a plus
Must be comfortable circulating C-sections

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation
Excellent communication with patients and care teams
Ability to follow detailed birth plans
Comfortable with high-risk deliveries at 34 weeks and above
Team-oriented with a flexible, can-do attitude
