Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling, weekends and holidays required, 18 hours of call per 6 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-risk L&D setting
Circulate C-Sections in the OR with confidence and precision
Titrate critical drips such as oxytocin and magnesium sulfate
Monitor fetal strips and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
Float to postpartum when needed to support the entire mother-baby unit
Collaborate with surgical techs, anesthesia, and APPs to ensure safe deliveries

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience
Proven ability to circulate C-Sections in the operating room
Comfortable titrating drips and reading fetal monitor strips independently

Knowledge & Skills

Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother-Baby care
C-Section circulation and OR protocols
Titration of oxytocin and magnesium sulfate
Fetal monitoring with GE Corometrics system
Floating between L&D and postpartum units
