Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to ICU patients during overnight shifts
• Monitor and interpret patient conditions, intervening promptly for changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and handoffs to ensure continuity
• Support families with clear communication and empathy during stressful moments
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure — active or eligible
• ICU experience and comfort working in high-acuity settings
• Ability to work overnight/night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) are a plus
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills

Education

• Registered Nurse (RN) credential required; specific degree (ADN/BSN) not specified in posting

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care assessment and monitoring skills
• Ventilator and hemodynamic support familiarity
• Safe medication administration and IV management
• Effective patient and family communication in high-stress situations
• Efficient electronic charting and accurate documentation
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
