Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and EGD with skill and compassion
• Provide advanced procedures including ERCP, EUS, enteroscopy, hemorrhoid banding, flexible sigmoidoscopy, TIF and video capsule endoscopy
• Deliver infusion therapies and conduct telehealth visits and nutrition counseling as part of comprehensive patient care
• Collaborate with a team of MD/DOs and advanced practice providers to coordinate excellent outpatient and hospital care
• Participate in a 1:9 hospital on-call schedule to support inpatient needs
• Manage a daily outpatient panel (approximately 15–18 patients), ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up
• Contribute to practice improvement and patient-centered initiatives that enhance access and quality

Qualifications

• MD or DO required
• Board certification in Gastroenterology preferred (candidates previously board certified who need to obtain certification again will be considered case-by-case)
• New graduates are welcome and accepted through 2025
• Willingness to participate in a 1:9 hospital on-call rotation
• Comfort and competence performing the listed endoscopic and advanced procedures
• Not accepting visa-sponsored candidates
• Not accepting locum tenens candidates

Education

• MD or DO

Knowledge & Skills

• Gastroenterology and endoscopy expertise
• Proficiency with colonoscopy and EGD (upper GI endoscopy)
• Experience or training in advanced procedures: ERCP, EUS, enteroscopy
• Familiarity with hemorrhoid banding, flexible sigmoidoscopy, TIF, and video capsule endoscopy
• Ability to deliver infusion services and telehealth visits
• Patient-centered communication and efficient outpatient workflow management
