Location: Merced, California

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 10-hour shifts available

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional outpatient physical therapy services across multiple disciplines
Provide compassionate care to diverse patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics
Collaborate with an experienced therapy team to optimize patient outcomes
Support early mobility programs and stroke-certified rehabilitation initiatives
Float between inpatient acute care and outpatient settings as needed
Contribute to JCAHO-certified stroke care and total joint replacement programs

Qualifications

Current California PT license required
BLS certification required
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Strong clinical skills across orthopedic, neurological, and medical patient populations
Flexibility to float between inpatient and outpatient settings

Knowledge & Skills

Outpatient therapy expertise across PT, OT, and ST disciplines
Experience with adult and geriatric inpatient populations
Pediatric and geriatric outpatient care knowledge
Hand therapy experience valued for OT component
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work with diverse patient needs and diagnoses
