Location: Oxnard, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver personalized occupational therapy to help patients regain independence
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team across inpatient and outpatient settings
Conduct evaluations and create treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals
Support patients recovering from strokes, spinal cord injuries, and orthopedic procedures
Document progress using Cerner EMR and communicate effectively with care teams

Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
Comfortable working both inpatient and outpatient settings
Willingness to work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment-planning skills
Experience with diverse patient populations including neuro, ortho, and general medical
Familiarity with Cerner EMR
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptable to both hospital and outpatient clinic environments
