Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and monitor patient condition with attention to detail
Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and policies
Document patient status, interventions and responses accurately and promptly
Communicate clearly with RNs, providers and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
Assist with patient education, discharge planning and family communication
Support safe handoffs and maintain continuity of care across shifts

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; ability to practice in Georgia is required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with medication administration, basic assessments and documentation
Professional, reliable and able to collaborate effectively with clinical teams
Valid state-required credentials and compliance with facility onboarding requirements

Education

Completed vocational nursing program or LPN certificate/diploma

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and clinical assessment skills
Competent medication administration and basic wound care knowledge
Clear verbal and written communication for documentation and team coordination
Familiarity with electronic health records and charting best practices
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment
