Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate patient care consistent with LPN scope of practice
Administer medications and document accurately to support excellent outcomes
Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the care team promptly
Assist with nursing procedures and support efficient unit workflow
Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation and handoffs
Collaborate with nurses, providers and support staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
Valid basic life support CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Comfort and ability to work 12.5-hour clinical shifts
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced hospital setting
Current, unrestricted license to practice as an LPN (state-specific requirements will apply)
Proof of required immunizations and ability to pass background checks as required

Education

Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing or equivalent training

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and safe documentation practices
Patient assessment and clinical observation skills
Basic wound care and common procedural assistance
Electronic medical record charting and accurate handoffs
Infection control and patient safety protocols
Compassionate patient and family communication
