Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care: assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition promptly and accurately
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other care team members to support individualized care plans
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols at all times
• Support patient comfort and dignity through respectful communication and attentive care
• Assist with safe patient transfers and positioning, using proper body mechanics and equipment

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Georgia preferred) or equivalent certification
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and maintain energy and focus throughout the shift
• Successful completion of background check and any required health screenings or immunizations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team player mindset
• Previous CNA experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

• Basic patient care and comfort measures
• Vital sign assessment and documentation
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Infection prevention and control practices
• Clear, professional communication with patients and team members
• Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment
