Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients in the PACU
Continuously monitor and assess patient vital signs, airway and recovery status
Administer medications and interventions according to physician orders and protocols
Communicate effectively with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and families
Document patient status and care delivered accurately and promptly
Prioritize patient safety and advocate for patient needs during recovery

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
Specialty experience in PACU (post-anesthesia care)
Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
Comfortable working within perioperative and recovery environments

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of post-anesthesia assessment and PACU protocols
Skilled in patient monitoring and recognition of clinical changes
Competence with IV therapy, medication administration, and airway support
Strong clinical judgment, prioritization, and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
