Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents on your shift
• Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and follow care plans
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Support infection control, safety protocols, and quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (RN or LPN) - state licensure required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and other specialty certifications a plus
• Comfortable with medication administration, clinical assessments, and documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; dependable and patient-focused
• Previous experience in post-acute or similar settings is helpful but not strictly required

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma for RN candidates; BSN preferred
• Practical Nursing diploma or certificate for LPN candidates
• Ongoing continuing education encouraged

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in clinical assessment and bedside nursing care
• Proficient with medication administration and basic IV/infusion knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clear documentation practices
• Good prioritization, time management, and multitasking under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and care teams
