Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, skilled patient care consistent with LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses thoroughly
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Support patient comfort, dignity, and education during your shift

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing (state licensure required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent
• Demonstrated clinical experience as an LPN in a similar care setting
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks during a busy 12-hour night shift

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program (diploma or certificate)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
• Infection control, safety protocols, and patient hygiene care
• Ability to triage and escalate patient concerns appropriately
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient/family education skills
