Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care throughout the overnight shift
• Assess and monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers with professionalism
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies at all times

Qualifications

• Valid RN or LPN license (as applicable) in the appropriate state
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or encouraged
• Comfortable and experienced working overnight shifts
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN for RN; LPN diploma/certificate for LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and critical thinking
• Medication administration and safety practices
• Basic IV and dressing care (as applicable to role)
• Electronic medical record documentation
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Time management and prioritization during busy overnight hours
