Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Overnight/Night, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (overnight); Meal break: 30 minutes. Days not specified

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents at Pine Point Center
Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Document care and patient progress clearly in the clinical record
Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating as needed
Support patients and families with education and empathetic communication

Qualifications

Current, active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensure (as applicable)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
Comfort and experience working overnight/overnight shifts
Strong clinical assessment, medication administration and documentation skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and care planning
Medication administration and safety
Basic wound care and infection control practices
Electronic medical record documentation
Patient/family education and bedside manner
Ability to prioritize and manage acuity in an overnight setting
