Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Bear Canyon RHB Ctr
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately following facility protocols
• Monitor and document patient status, changes, and interventions in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and execute individualized care plans
• Respond to urgent needs and escalate concerns promptly to ensure patient safety
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control, and charting best practices

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Comfortable with medication administration, patient assessment, and documentation
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to work night shifts reliably and provide consistent, high-quality care

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (certificate, diploma, or degree)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
• Medication administration and dosage calculations
• Wound care and basic nursing procedures
• Electronic medical record documentation and charting
• Time management, prioritization, and critical thinking
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
