Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days not specified, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Day shift, 12.5-hour shift)

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer safe, timely patient care in accordance with facility protocols
Monitor patients' conditions, report changes promptly, and escalate when needed
Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in the chart
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and follow care plans
Provide compassionate patient and family education to support recovery and health
Support medication administration and basic clinical procedures within scope

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Registered Nurse (RN) license — appropriate for the role applied
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Comfort with electronic health records and accurate documentation
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a care team
Ability to lift/transfer patients and perform clinical duties required by the unit

Education

LPN: Vocational/Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent
RN (if applying for RN role): Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or BSN

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Medication administration and basic wound care
Clinical documentation and charting best practices
Infection control and safety procedures
Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical environment
Professional bedside manner and patient/family education techniques
