Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and monitoring to ensure safety and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care in the medical record
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
• Perform focused assessments and report changes in patient condition promptly
• Support patients and families with education, advocacy, and clear communication
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to facility policies and regulations

Qualifications

• Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico or compact/multi-state equivalent as applicable
• Clinical experience in a relevant care setting; previous work as an LPN or RN is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications encouraged
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused approach to care

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent diploma/certificate

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Comfort with electronic medical records and timely documentation
• Ability to perform focused patient assessments and recognize changes in condition
• Good prioritization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Professional bedside manner and patient education techniques
