Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Day shift (days not specified)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
Assess patient condition and promptly communicate changes to the care team
Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and aftercare
Respond effectively to emergencies and escalate concerns when needed
Maintain accurate, timely charting and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or compact state privileges where applicable
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or as applicable to the unit
Previous clinical nursing experience preferred, PRN experience a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Ability to provide safe medication administration and maintain accurate documentation

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
Patient and family education techniques
Basic emergency response and critical thinking under pressure
