Shift Type: Day shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (day shift). Note: role may also use 10-hour variable day shifts with one weekday off; occasional Saturdays possible. Call coverage may be required per facility notes (typically ~8 days/month).
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures including ports, angios, nephrostomy tubes, stents, IVC filters and more
- Support neuro endovascular and embolization procedures when indicated, collaborating closely with MDs and RNs
- Operate and maintain imaging systems (DR/PACS) and specialty equipment such as Philips Allera and Medrad injectors
- Prepare and position patients, ensure proper sterile technique and scrub when required
- Document procedures and chart in Cerner accurately and promptly
- Work confidently in a Level I trauma environment, following trauma protocols and delivering calm, precise care during high-acuity cases
- Participate in floor-specific orientation and ongoing team communication to ensure smooth case flow (5–10 cases/day typical)
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification — required
- Arizona MRTBE-CRT license — required
- BLS certification — required
- Minimum ~2 years of relevant IR technologist experience with Level I trauma experience — required
- Scrub experience preferred
- Vascular access (VI) certificate is a plus
- Neuro endovascular experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable working day shifts and occasionally covering weekend cases
Education
- Certified Radiologic Technologist — ARRT (R) required
- Arizona MRTBE-CRT state license required
- BLS certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and IR suite workflow
- Proficiency with PACS/DR imaging systems and Cerner EMR
- Experience with Philips Allera fluoroscopy systems and Medrad injectors
- Skilled in sterile technique and intra-procedural scrub assistance
- Ability to manage 5–10 cases per day while maintaining patient safety and documentation
- Familiarity with trauma protocols and high-acuity patient handling
