Shift Type: Day shift, 40 hours per week (exact daily start/end times vary by unit), plus on-call coverage: 4-6 weekends per month and one night per week; day shift with occasional night on-call

Roles & Responsibilities
- Set up, prepare, and clean interventional radiology and hybrid OR rooms before and after procedures to ensure safe, efficient care
- Confirm patient identity and review history, delivering clear patient education before exams
- Prepare and administer contrast media under physician direction following established protocols
- Perform pain assessments and take appropriate actions per standard operating procedures
- Code procedures accurately for physician billing, maintain up-to-date CPT knowledge, and complete charge entry in Epic
- Operate and manage imaging systems including PACS for capture and archiving of procedural images
- Maintain room supplies and ensure equipment readiness to support timely patient care
- Perform additional duties as needed to support department goals and patient outcomes
Qualifications
- North Dakota Medical Imaging License (required prior to start)
- ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification (required prior to start)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (required prior to start)
- Experience in Interventional Radiology and familiarity with Hybrid Operating Room workflows (preferred)
- Proven ability with contrast administration under physician oversight
- Competence in CPT coding and charge entry (Epic experience preferred)
- Comfort with PACS imaging systems and routine room setup/sterile technique
- Willingness to participate in scheduled call, weekend, and occasional night coverage

- Interventional Radiology procedures and protocols
- Contrast administration best practices and safety
- CPT procedure coding and physician fee preparation
- Epic electronic health record for charge capture and documentation
- PACS for image retrieval, storage, and workflow
- Patient identification standards and clear patient education techniques
- Room setup, sterile field management, and post-procedure cleaning
- Pain assessment and appropriate follow-up actions
