Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8 and 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with 1-4 hour weeknight call every week and weekend call every 5 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons across a wide range of specialties including ortho, neuro, robotics, GYN, eyes, and ENT procedures
Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for each case
Support complex surgeries such as total joints, craniotomies, robotic-assisted procedures, and trauma cases
Maintain sterile technique and follow strict safety protocols to protect every patient
Collaborate with a skilled OR team to deliver exceptional surgical care every day

Qualifications

Active BLS certification required
CST certification preferred but not required
Strong experience in ortho, neuro, and robotics procedures
Comfortable supporting a variety of cases including GYN, eyes, ENT, and general surgery
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ortho ORIFs, total joints, neuro craniotomies, and robotic systems
Familiar with Davinci Robot, stealth navigation, and o-arm imaging
Knowledge of sterile processing and surgical instrumentation
Ability to handle both scheduled and emergent pediatric cases
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
