Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts, same schedule week to week with one weeknight call until 7:00 AM next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub independently for cranial procedures and provide expert support during neuro-trauma cases
• Assist with total joint replacements and orthopedic trauma surgeries using precision and care
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields while anticipating surgeon needs throughout each procedure
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety remains the top priority
• Handle a diverse caseload including orthopedics, urology, ENT, and neuro procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced surgical equipment including robotics and navigation systems

Qualifications

• Current CST certification preferred with proven ability to scrub independently
• Strong orthopedic trauma and total joint experience required
• Comfortable taking neuro-trauma call and performing cranial procedures without supervision
• BLS certification and familiarity with EPIC documentation system
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive, team-first attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert scrubbing techniques for complex cranial and orthopedic cases
• Proficiency with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis navigation systems
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and operating room protocols
• Ability to remain calm and focused during high-acuity trauma situations
• Clear communication skills and commitment to patient safety
