Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients on a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
- Perform continuous EEG monitoring and respond to changing patient conditions with critical thinking
- Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to maintain safe 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratios
- Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed while delivering excellent patient outcomes
- Complete required orientation and pass skills exams to ensure top-quality care delivery
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum one year of recent PCU or telemetry experience preferred
- Valid driver's license for radius verification
- Ability to work 36 hours per week on rotating day/night schedule
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac monitoring and drip titration expertise
- EEG monitoring experience
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to help others
