Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM, occasional weekend coverage required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy care across acute care units including ICU, med-surg, tele, and oncology
Provide specialized treatment for ventilated patients and post-cardiac surgery recovery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Manage diverse caseloads including ortho and total joint patients
Support patients through their entire hospital journey from admission to discharge

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Experience with ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patients
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills across multiple patient populations
Ability to work independently with minimal orientation
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Comfort working with complex cardiac and ICU patients
Flexible and adaptable to varied daily schedules
