Location: Prescott, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips each shift
- Provide compassionate care for patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, and post-cath needs
- Collaborate with the care team on total joint replacement recovery plans
- Support patients experiencing CVA and TIA with skilled nursing interventions
- Float to East Campus or PCU when needed to keep patient care seamless
- Document accurately in Cerner while delivering excellent bedside care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to pass the dysrhythmia exam with 80 percent or higher within two attempts
- Experience reading basic telemetry strips and interpreting dysrhythmias
- Some background with CVA, TIA, and total joint replacement patients preferred
- Cerner experience strongly recommended due to minimal orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Medical-surgical nursing fundamentals
- Diltiazem/Cardizem drip management at set rates
- BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatment support
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities
