Shift Type: Nights, 11:00 PM - 11:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 - $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients for appropriate vascular access needs and deliver personalized care
Insert and maintain peripheral IVs, midlines, and PICC lines following facility protocols
Monitor vascular access devices for complications and ensure proper maintenance
Educate patients and healthcare staff on best practices for vascular access care
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient outcomes
Adhere to infection prevention and patient safety standards
Respond promptly to vascular access consultations throughout the facility

Qualifications

Active RN License in North Carolina or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
Recent Vascular Access experience required
Strong IV insertion and vascular access skills
Experience with PICC lines and central venous access devices preferred
BLS Certification
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment
