Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Chandler, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, self-scheduling with 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients awaiting placement from the emergency department
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias with confidence
- Titrate cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone per physician orders
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth transitions for patients moving to med/surg/tele units
- Support ED staff with vitals, IV starts, and medication administration when needed
- Float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and both CRMC and MGMC campuses as needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry experience within the past 6 months
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam through RELIAS within 48 hours of offer
- Comfortable completing a pass/fail SIM lab on day one of orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong cardiac telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Titration of cardiac drips including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
- Dysrhythmia recognition and management
- Patient assessment and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to float between units and campuses
