Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling with weekend requirements every third for days and every other for nights

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients from neonates through geriatrics across all inpatient floors
Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry with precision and care
Manage ventilators including Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion systems for diverse patient needs
Support patients with BiPAP and high-flow oxygen therapy using Vision, V60, V30, and Airvo2 equipment
Collaborate closely with hospitalists, intensivists, and nursing teams available 24/7
Float throughout the hospital in an RT capacity to meet dynamic patient care demands

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NRP and PALS preferred
Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and not be employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities

Willingness to learn and grow professionally
Comfort working with patients across the entire age spectrum
