Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
- Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
- Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic assessments to keep patients stable
- Collaborate with an amazing multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians
- Float between PCU and Med/Surg units while maintaining excellent patient ratios
- Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that truly make a difference
Qualifications
- Active RN license with at least 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
- BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
- Chemotherapy administration experience strongly preferred
- Open to first-time travelers who are ready to learn and grow
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius of Omaha and have no prior employment with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for complex oncology and trauma patients
- Comfort with EPIC charting and Alaris IV pumps
- Ability to titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem when needed
- Team-first attitude and genuine passion for patient-centered care
- Willingness to float within the same level of care and support colleagues
