Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct and indirect patient care across multiple specialties including Neuro, ENT, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Cardiac, and Urology
- Perform thorough patient assessments and coordinate interdisciplinary screenings to ensure comprehensive care
- Administer medications safely while educating patients and families about treatment plans and follow-up instructions
- Monitor cardiac status, identify dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately using advanced protocols
- Collaborate with consulting providers to communicate changes in patient status and diagnostic results
- Cross-train across all consulting areas to provide flexible coverage and support the team
Qualifications
- Current IL RN License required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience preferred
- Critical Care or Cardiac Care experience preferred
- Strong computer skills with EMR navigation ability
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and pain management techniques
- Cardiac monitoring and hemodynamic interpretation
- Medication administration based on age and clinical condition
- Interdisciplinary care coordination
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing assignments
