Location: Mauston, Wisconsin

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night Shift: 7 shifts on, 8 shifts off, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Draw blood from inpatient and outpatient settings so tests can be performed and doctors can make diagnoses
- Send out pathology, cytology, bone marrow biopsies, and fine needle aspirates
- Review and input patient demographics for pathology and print pathology reports
- Order tests and prepare them to standards while double-checking physician details
- Perform venipuncture blood draws, heel sticks, finger pokes, drug screens, and breathalyzers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of related work experience preferred
- BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire
- Valid and current driver's license preferred
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge & Skills
- Intermediate proficiency with computers
- Comprehensive phlebotomy skills
- Knowledge of lab protocols
- Self-starter with compassion and excellent interpersonal communication
- Strong problem-solving abilities
