Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry
Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
- Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
- Collaborate with a dedicated Charge Nurse and PCT team to maintain excellent 1:3-4 patient ratios
- Float to other telemetry units including Neuro Tele as needed to support the broader hospital team
- Complete required SIMs Lab training for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
- Manage non-titrating drips and support patients with CPAP and high-flow oxygen needs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
- Must pass dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts before acceptance
- Clean-shaven appearance for men and natural hair color with no facial piercings required for fit testing
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong EKG interpretation skills using Philips monitors
- Competence in sterile field technique for Foley and central line procedures
- Ability to care for cardiac step-down, pre-transplant, and ER overflow patients
- Comfort floating across multiple telemetry units
- Cerner EMR experience a plus
