Location: Hilo, Hawaii

Start Date: 07-27-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable shifts between 6:45 AM - 11:15 PM, scheduled 40 hours per week with possibility of 32 hours on holidays, plus 24/7 call coverage averaging 1-2 times weekly and up to 2 weekends per month with 20-minute callback time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist with turnover cleaning to keep the OR running smoothly and efficiently
Transport patients safely when needed to support seamless care transitions
Independently scrub a wide variety of cases including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology procedures
Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active Hawaii state license required by start of assignment
Minimum 2 years of scrubbing experience in a hospital setting
BLS/BCLS certification required
Ability to work variable shifts and participate in call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge across multiple surgical specialties including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology
Proficient in sterile technique and OR protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and patient needs
