Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with rotating call coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a wide variety of surgical specialties
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team during general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and robotic procedures
Prepare patients and operating rooms for procedures ranging from routine to complex robotics cases
Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout each surgical experience
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses to support team needs
Respond to call coverage with a 30-minute response time to ensure continuous patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2-3 years of operating room experience
BLS certification required
Previous travel nursing experience
Proficiency with DaVinci Xi robotic system
Comfortable with a broad case mix including general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and trauma procedures
Ability to float between two nearby campuses as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of surgical information systems similar to Cerner or EPIC
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to adapt to varying daily case volumes
Commitment to maintaining high standards even during on-call situations
Willingness to embrace a smaller, close-knit unit culture
